Joiner / Cabinet Maker (CNC)

At PlyLab, we design and build high-end plywood kitchens and furniture — crafted with precision, care, and purpose. We’re looking for a skilled Joiner / Cabinet Maker to join our production team in Petone.

You’ll be hands-on with CNC-driven manufacturing, working alongside a tight, design-focused crew who take pride in building exceptional products. Every project is custom — from kitchens and wardrobes to vanities and furniture — and every detail matters.

What you’ll do

• Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files

• Prepare, cut, and assemble plywood components to exact specifications

• Operate and maintain CNC equipment and woodworking machinery

• Finish, assemble, and quality-check cabinetry and furniture

• Collaborate with the design and production team to solve problems and improve flow

• Contribute to maintaining a clean, efficient, and safe workshop environment

What we’re looking for

• Experience in cabinetry, joinery, or CNC manufacturing

• Strong practical skills and an eye for precision and detail

• Understanding of woodworking materials, especially birch plywood

• Commitment to continuous improvement and high standards of workmanship

• A proactive, reliable, and collaborative mindset
